This set of two worksheets has been developed to help your students strengthen their addition and subtraction skills when fractions are involved. Each page contains 10 equations for students to solve. The equations are a mix of addition and subtraction questions, teaching your students the importance of looking closely at the operation sign before solving!

• Page 1 – This page contains questions that require students to add and subtract like fractions, that is, fractions with the same denominator.
• Page 2 – This page contains questions that require students to add and subtract unlike fractions, that is, fractions with different denominators.

Answers for teachers are also provided to make marking quick and easy!

Choose the worksheet that best suits the concept you are teaching, or provide different worksheets to different students depending on their ability.
